First and comprehensive typographic tribute to one of the most creative XX century Italian type designers and the four typefaces he created. Typeset by hand in the original 1930s types he designed, which were cast by Nebiolo Foundry in those years.

Giulio Da Milano, an eclectic painter lent to Typography for few years, while Artistic Director at Nebiolo Foundry, designed four important typefaces: Neon, Mecano, Fregio Razionale, Veltro).

This publication, typeset by hand and letterpress printed, includes all of them.

Published in 2002, this booklet gave a decisive contribution to bringing Da Milano’s masterpieces, for far too long unjustly neglected, back to the limelight.

Print run of 180 copies, of which:

- 120 printed on paper made in Sicily (€ 120).

- 60 printed on Magnani paper made in Pescia (sold out).

This publication is housed in a slipcase, custom hand-made to an exact size, whose exteriors are covered with Ingres paper.
