This edition has been published according to the project Alberto Tallone made in 1955. With this project he participated to the editorial initiative "Liber Librorum" promoted by the Royal Library of Sweden in 1955 on occasion of the fifth centenary year of the publication of Gutenberg's Bible in 1455. Forty-two typographers from 15 different countries were involved and each one submitted a project.
Limited and numbered print run of 500 copies letterpress-printed on purposely-made off-white Magnani paper made in Tuscany.
This is an ordinary copy. Moreover, 18 copies have been printed on paper handmade in China (price and images on request).
The volume is housed in hand-made slipcases and boxes, custom made to an exact size, whose exteriors are covered with Ingres paper. The book title is letterpress-printed on the slipcase’s spine.
